We purchased this meteorite from Bedouin near Dchira, Western Sahara in 2000. By February 2001 it's lunar origin was confirmed. Yet the composition was unmatched. It has two distinct lithologies: a green cumulate and black breccia. Dr. Tim Fagan made the first description of this new type of meteorite calling it a cumulate olivine norite with regolith breccia more often abbreviated norite. Interesting spectroscopy research of the south pole of the moon (Atkin Basin) have remarkable similarities with composition of this meteorite.
